Schallmooser Hauptstraße 50, 5020 Salzburg, Austria
Esibizione dal Vivo
Located in the heart of Salzburg’s Schallmoos district, at the foot of the Kapuzinerberg, kleines theater has been a cornerstone of the city’s independent performing arts scene for over 30 years. Set in a distinctive vaulted stone structure, this historic venue offers a unique and intimate environment for rehearsals, workshops, and select performances — now available by request.
The main hall features 150 seats across 17 rows (including wheelchair access) and a 7×6.3 m stage with a ceiling height of 3.2 m. The space is ideal for spoken word, acoustic ensembles, contemporary theatre, or staging pre-production runs in a full technical setup.
Technical highlights include:
• Full professional lighting rig with halogen and LED fixtures (Fresnels, Spots, COBs, Source 4)
• Soundcraft SI Impact digital mixer with a comprehensive stagebox system
• Vocal, instrument, and overhead microphones (Shure, AKG, Rode, Audiotechnica)
• Alpsaudio and Martin PA system with monitors
• Projector (Eiki 623U, 6k ANSI) and Arkaos Mediamaster media server
• Artists’ dressing room (access via stage) and foyer with front-of-house access
The space is fully connected and adaptable, with a flexible lighting and sound setup and movable risers. Public events can be accommodated with separate contractual arrangements. Urbankeller, the adjoining restaurant, is perfect for post-rehearsal or post-performance gatherings with cast, crew, or collaborators.
