Stage 1

Stage 1 boasts a spacious 48m² (520ft²) control room that can accommodate up to 10 clients, with the 21m² (230ft²) recording room that can accommodate up to 8 artists. Stage 1 is the first Dolby Atmos HE enabled facility in South Africa. The environment is ideal for recording ADR and loop groups or for mixing all theatrical formats from 5.1 to Dolby Atmos 9.1.4. Stage 1 is a single or dual operator suite equipped with the latest Pro Tools HDX systems, 17 fader Avid EUCON Controller, JBL Cinema Array comprising of 3 x JBL 3732’s, 12 x JBL 8340a’s, 1 x JBL 4641, Crown DCI800 Network Amplifiers, 5.5m acoustically transparent screen with 2K projection, audio & visual ADR cueing system, a selection of world-class outboard gear, Izotope advanced audio restoration tools and Cedar noise removal.
