Vienna State Opera - GUSTAV MAHLER HALL

Today, the Gustav Mahler Hall is the venue for chamber music matinees of the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra, ensemble matinees and events of the Official Circle of Friends of the Vienna State Opera. The auditions for the orchestra of the Vienna State Opera and the dance-auditions for the Opera Ball are also held here. Tapestries with motifs from Mozart’s Die Zauberflöte adorn the walls of the room.
